Commenting on the new flights was Jetstar Asia CEO John Simeone:

“Our services to Clark are back by popular demand, not only for holiday makers but those wanting to visit family and friends”.

“And Krabi is an exciting new addition for Jetstar Asia, less than two hours away, it’s the perfect holiday destination for those wanting to enjoy stunning white beaches, world-class rock-climbing experiences, marine parks, rainforests and outdoor activities.”

“We’re excited to add these two popular destinations, responding to demand, providing our customers with more incredible low-cost travel options and supporting the travel and tourism industries in these two critical markets.”

Jetstar Asia has been slow but very steady in it’s route growth over the last few months.

They have inaugurated flights between Singapore and Wuxi, as well as to Okinawa.

Furthermore, this is a good way for the new CEO John Simeone to hit the ball running.

He recently replaced Barathan Pasupathi, who stepped down after a 12-year tenure with the airline.

Overall…

Overall, Jetstar Asia is hitting the ground running, with the recent announcement of Singapore-Clark & Krabi being an example of that.

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on what sort of expansion we may see throughout the rest of 2024.

The airline will be wanting to capitalise a further market share within Asia.

But for now, let’s see how their 2024 performs.
