Latham & Watkins Represents Carlyle in Providing US$800 Million Asset-Backed Credit Facility to Production Company Park County

Latham & Watkins represented Carlyle in providing an US$800 million asset-backed credit facility to Park County, the multi-platform media and entertainment company founded by Matt Stone and Trey Parker that produces “South Park” and “The Book of Mormon,” among other media brands. The financing closed in December 2023.

Latham advised on private capital and entertainment, sports, and media matters with a team led by New York partners Stelios Saffos and Peter Sluka, Century City partner Rick Offsay, and counsel Marcela Ruenes and Paul Iannicelli, with associates Julio M. Martinez Rivas and Rebecca Tan. Advice was also provided on tax matters by New York partner Jocelyn Noll, with associate Nick Sun; and on uniform commercial code matters by New York partners Larry Safran and Brian Rock.
