It has been revealed this week that Uzbekistan Airways will increase the number of flights to St. Petersburg in Russia.
Such changes are expected to take place just after the mid-point of this month, on February 17.

Uzbekistan Airways Increases St. Petersburg Flights…
Pulkovo Airport, which is in St. Petersburg, said the following on Uzbekistan Airways increasing flights out of the region:
“Starting February 17, the carrier will increase the number of flights to Fergana from two to three per week.”
“Additional flights on Saturdays will be added to flights on Tuesdays and Fridays. Flights to Namangan will begin starting February 21. Flights will be operated once a week on Wednesdays”.
Interfax reports that these flights come alongside additional services from Uzbekistan Airways to the following destinations:
- Tashkent
- Samarkand
- Bukhara
- Urgench
- Termez
It is understood that these flights from the airline are serviced with their Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft.
From Pulkovo Airport, the likes of Rossiya, UTair and Qanot Sharq also operate services from St. Petersburg alongside Uzbekistan Airways.
Looking ahead, all eyes will be on what other service increases will take place from Pulkovo Airport, as other commercial airfields across Russia are looking to increase the number of flights where possible.
